Short Biography
In 2001 he wrote Kitab Batu for soprano and 7 musical instruments dedicated for The Dutch Chamber Music Company, as requested by Eduard van Beinum Foundation. Ilalang (Imperata cylindrica) for cello and piano dedicated for Doris Hochscheid and Frans van Ruth, also a musical composition commissioned by Eduard van Beinum Foundation. He has worked together with Ensemble Modern-Frankfurt, and has written Mihrab for suluk, rebab and 16 musical instruments. Currently, he is working on mono opera based on a novel written by Pramudya Anantatoer titled Gadis Pantai, commissioned by Eduard van Beinum which will be played for the first time at November Music Den Bosh NL 2018.

Konsep Karya
This piece depicts the symbolic relation between various human senses. Its output is not in form of voice and visual, but the frequency of this piece would also stimulate or at least would give a more whole effect to the audience. Hopefully by receiving the effect of voice, light, form and wave through all senses, the audience can attain the enlightenment.


Karya ini adalah penggambaran dari suatu relasi simbolis antara berbagai indera manusia. Lewat output yang tidak hanya suara dan visual, namun juga frekwensi karya ini akan menstimulasi atau paling tidak memberi efek pada penontonnya secara lebih utuh. Bagaimana kemudian efek suara, cahaya, bentuk dan gelombang yang ditangkap oleh semua indera manusia diharapkan dapat memberi pencerahan bagi penontonnya.
