Konsep Karya
What is different from his previous paintings, that are colorful or his reliefs that are full of figure and narration, this Entang presents his abstract drawing. One thing obvious about this work is how Entang cultivates strokes through straight and crossed lines as his overflow of emotion. The nature of expression of these lines is more spontaneous and flowing in the whole of his drawing area, its size is still big, like his other paintings. Through this work, at least we can watch how Entang cultivates and controls his expression. In other words, Entang actually is cultivating himself. A deeper reflection activity. 



 

Berbeda dengan karya-karya lukisan sebelumnya yang full colour atau karya reliefnya yang penuh dengan figur dan narasi, kali ini Entang menghadirkan karya drawing yang abstrak. Satu hal yang dapat dilihat dari karya ini adalah bagaimana Entang mengolah goresan lewat garis-garis yang searah maupun bersilangan sebagai luapan ekspresi dirinya. Ekspresi garis ini lebih bersifat spontan dan mengalir seluas bidang gambarnya, yang tetap saja berukuran besar, sama seperti ukuran lukisan-lukisan Entang yang lain. Lewat karya ini, paling tidak kita bisa melihat bagaimana Entang mengolah dan mengontrol ekspresinya. Dengan kata lain sebenarnya Entang sedang mengelola dirinya sendiri. Suatu tindakan reflektif yang lebih mendalam.
